The Scientific Advisory Board on Fertiliser Issues

The Scientific Advisory Board advises the Federal Ministry in fertiliser issues by providing expert opinions. Its members are appointed by the Federal Ministry on the basis of the Fertiliser Act.

The members of the Advisory Board serve on a voluntary basis and are not bound by instructions.

The Advisory Board is assisted by an office at the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food which is charged with conducting its affairs.

The Advisory Board consists of ten members representing the special fields of plant nutrition, crop production, organic farming, fertiliser analysis, toxicology, ecotoxicology and environmental and animal hygiene.
