Equivalent living conditions

Germany is a diverse country. However, there are increasingly inequalities in living conditions between and within regions. The Commission on "Equivalent Living Conditions" has therefore drawn up proposals to make both rural and urban regions economically vibrant, demographically sound and attractive places to live in.

Commission for "Equivalent living conditions" - Conclusions and measures taken by the Federal Government

"Equivalent living conditions" was the focus of the work of the Commission of the same name, which was established last autumn with Federal Minister Horst Seehofer (BMI) as chair and Federal Ministers Julia Klöckner (BMEL) and Dr Franziska Giffey (BMFSFJ) as co-chairs.


"Action alliance for rural life"

The "Action alliance for rural life" aims to strengthen rural areas based on its motto of "Regional networks for united strength".
