Background
The goal of a bio-based circular economy must be in harmony with sustainable agriculture and forestry in order to avoid competition for land. A professional exchange on concepts, policies and strategies is also necessary at international level in order to exploit potentials and synergies.
Project Objectives
The aim of the project is to prepare a Global Partnership on Bioeconomy for Sustainable Food and Agriculture (GP-BSFA), which is to be established at the FAO. All relevant interest groups will be involved through a consultation process.
